Loveland InterFaith Effort (L.I.F.E.) is approaching their busiest season and is spreading the word about the need for community assistance. The Food Pantry is a non-profit organization which provides emergency food assistance for registered clients.  The clients must be residents of the Loveland School District or a member of one of the supporting organizations/churches. In addition to food service every 28 days, L.I.F.E. offers financial aid, holiday programs, a back to school fair, and a new breakfast program for grades 2-8 within the Loveland School for qualifying students.

L.I.F.E. will be distributing Holiday Food Baskets containing meals for both Thanksgiving and Christmas on November 19 for pre-registered clients from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  We will also have regular pantry hours from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 as well as a representative available for questions and assistance regarding Medicare/Medicaid.

The Holiday of Giving Shoppe will be held on December 6th and 7th  for pre-registered clients. While registration for each of these events has closed, we are seeking donations of food, clothing, toys and household items.  Please remember to like us on Facebook and increase our visibility! Donations can be dropped at Loveland Music Academy in the basket inside the front door or placed upstairs under the tree at 209 W. Loveland Avenue, as well as at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 101 S. Lebanon Road. Donation boxes at PoP are located inside the side entrance of the church.  Please leave clothing, toys and household items unwrapped.

We are collecting holiday gift bags; we are in particular need of medium, large and extra large bags.

For a list of suggested donations, please visit our website or our Facebook page.

In addition to donations, we are in need of volunteers.  If you are looking for a place to make a difference in the lives of those in need in your own community, we offer a wide variety of options for participating, from filling grocery orders to stocking shelves, helping purchase items and date checking, or organizing and assisting at food drives. You'll make a contribution and be blessed at the same time!

If you're interested in volunteering, please contact – our volunteer coordinator would be happy to set up times that work for you.
