To receive assistance from any of the L.I.F.E. programs, a family or individual must meet the following requirements:
  • Live within the Loveland School District;
  • Have income that falls within the TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) guidelines;
  • If you live in subsidized housing you must bring a Photo ID for head of household and a copy of your current lease (if you have lived there under one year) or your re-certification papers which are issued to you every year after your first year of the lease. This lease or re-certification paper must list everyone in your household by name;
  • If you are not in subsidized housing, you will need to bring a photo ID for every adult (over 18 years of age) living in your household. In addition, you will need to bring the most current Loveland report card for each school age child. For those children not yet in school we will need to see a birth certificate or in the case of a newborn we will accept a crib card as proof that the child is in your household. In addition, we need to see a bill dated within the last 30 days in the name of head of household.
We must re-qualify all clients once per year starting July 1st.

To qualify for the holiday programs, the individual or family must agree not to accept FREE assistance from another gift program.

To sign up for monthly grocery assistance, come to the food pantry during regular hours and complete the necessary paperwork. You are able to receive groceries at that visit, even with incomplete paperwork, but must have ALL paperwork completed to receive further assistance or to participate in other programs.

Sign-up for all holiday programs is conducted each year. These include Student L.I.F.E., Holiday Baskets, and the Holiday Giving Shoppe. There is a $5.00 refundable deposit upon registration.

To apply for financial assistance, come to the food pantry during regular hours to complete the request form. Requests are generally processed within seven (7) working days. Any monies provided are sent directly to the utility or landlord.

Seniors living alone, with other seniors, or with children under the age of 18 are eligible for our additional senior services.
